We really roughed it at the camp, staying in the
heated cabin with real mattresses! There was plenty to do, either
in the water or out....

...but some of us enjoyed it a little closer than

Dad decided that skippering a canoe was too easy the
traditional way, so he tried his own method. |

Unlike dad, Uncle James managed to stay dry... to

The food was excellent--looks like Gideon enjoyed

We had fun with puzzles and games. |

"Settlers of Cataan" was the favorite
game, with many of us taking turns trying to figure out how to
win. Okay, I have 2 ore available for 1 sheep and 1 wood.... |

Some of us hiked to the top of the nearby hill or
mountain or whatever it rates as. Anyway, the view from the top
was splendid. |
