This storm rolled in shortly after I got my first digital camera, a Nikon
Coolpix 2000. I decided to try out the camera on lightning. Though
it doesn't do as well as my regular 35mm SLR, I was pretty impressed. Now
if those digital SLRs would come down in price....

| This same storm produced an amazing amount of rather large
hail. I got a new roof out of this storm--and was glad my car was
in the garage. Cars on the street had golf-ball-like dimples
afterwards. |
